Why does EcoEnclose exist?

EcoEnclose's mission is to accelerate our nation's transition to sustainable packaging. Learn what we mean by sustainable packaging and our decision-making framework that drives our progress.

If we sell it, we stand behind it. If we don’t, it doesn’t meet our rigorous sustainability standards.
 
Our primary purpose is to develop and continuously improve packaging that helps you ship as sustainably as possible. We have an ambitious vision for the future of sustainable packaging, one focused on materials circularity and regenerative materials. Our detailed decision-making framework enables us to make decisions and push our product set forward.

It isn’t enough for us to simply provide the world’s most sustainable packaging. Our role is to be a true partner to our brands:
 
Helping our brands select the most eco-forward, optimal packaging they can given their unique needs.
 
Ensuring our brand's packaging arrives on time and is high quality, aligning with the brand experience they seek to deliver to their customers.
 
Serving as a thought partner and resource for our brands in all things related to sustainability, including navigating legislation, developing recycle-ready packaging, and adopting innovative new solutions when they are available.
 
To create the most sustainable packaging, we spend a lot of time researching everything from carbon accounting analysis to the merits of new materials. We know the companies we serve are busy running their businesses, and they don’t have time to do this research themselves. So, we use our website resources, newsletters, social media channels, and 1-1 interactions with our customers to provide you with the sustainability and business guidance we’ve developed.

We work towards a future in which our products, operations, and supply chain are a positive, regenerative force for the planet.
 
We are proud of our current packaging solutions. Still, we know they are not yet truly sustainable. Regarding the impact of our packaging on the planet, our packaging has a more positive impact than traditional packaging solutions, but they have a net negative impact overall. We are striving toward a future in which selling one of our products is net positive - leading to carbon sequestration and a healthier planet.

We know there is so much to do to achieve this vision, with a focus on new ways of thinking about our packaging, operations improvements, logistics, shipping changes, and so much more.
EcoEnclose is family-owned and operated, and we bring our passion for the environment and our community to work daily. Kyle and Saloni have three young kids in Niwot, Colorado, and much of their passion is driven by their desire to protect their gorgeous natural surroundings for their children and future generations.

In May of 2023, EcoEnclose became a Power User of the Environmental Paper Network Paper Calculator.
Our 2023 environmental savings report, as well as our savings calculator, now draws directly from the EPN's most up to date assumptions and LCA results.

Retail boxes and folding cartons with windows made from regenerative seaweed film designed by Sway.

A post-consumer content palstic pallet wrap uiquely derived from LDPE film rather than rigid HDPE.
